In 2000 Art Resource Technology opened its doors and began offering its services. We are located in the beautiful high desert area of Central Oregon. Our specialty is giclée printing and large format scanning. We also do digital archiving, graphic layout and design, web design, and laser-printing. Our goal is dedicated to bringing out the best in our clients work and provide them with the highest reproduction quality at affordable prices. We utilize high-resolution Epson Stylus Pro printers which are capable of printing up to 44" wide and almost any length. We use archival pigment inks on acid-free archival paper for highest image quality and longevity. The inks we use have two things in common, high fade resistance and beautiful print images.Large format scans are done on our Contex Chroma 40 scanner which allows accurate 36-bit scans using the best 24-color bits for the scanned image. Additionally, it allows scans up to 5/8" thickness for art work mounted on thicker mediums. All fragile art work such as pastels and charcoals are mounted in frames to raise them up above the cameras, protecting the fragility of the art. The scanner utilizes three cameras allowing seamless stitching between the cameras. Image size can be up to 40" on the narrowest side and up to 84" in length. Transparency scans are done on a scanner which is designed for professionals for graphic arts applications. It produces superb-quality slide, negative and reflective scans. It is capable of scanning 35mm slides, and up to 8"x10" negatives and transparencies and provides extremely high quality scans of your artwork photographs.Color laser-prints are done using our high resolution printers. Many of our clients, in addition to giclée reproductions of their prints, purchase laser-printed greeting cards, business cards, and calendars of their reproduced art work.
